This is the fifth demo for my potential upcoming album Politically Incoherent.
As discussed below the break, this is NSFW and otherwise perhaps offensive; listen at your own risk.
EDIT: Now that I’ve had some time to think about this, I’m thinking maybe it’s too mean-spirited and ill-conceived. Or maybe it’s fine, and I’m just getting too much up in my own head. Or somewhere in the middle. I can’t even tell any more. But one of the points of this site, I think, is to let us experiment, so, whether this works or not, I’ll leave it up, and decide on another day whether it has any place on my (still hypothetical) upcoming “Politically Incoherent” album. Original song notes are below.
Be warned this is:
2) Intensely political (for me), bad-natured, not a positive role-model, and perhaps offensive.
3) Ill-conceived, bad-tempered, and not well thought-out or articulated in terms of political argument. As I’ve said about previous songs, it is simply a momentary outpouring of id, and not meant to be taken seriously. Songs are not the place for serious political discussion.
4) On top of everything else, potentially slightly misogynistic (or at least disrespectful).
Really, I don’t blame anyone who chooses to just move along. But I have to admit, I get a kick out of it (and out of all my songs, really; I’m my #1 fan).
Also, I should probably add that I don’t actually have a brother (and my sister assuredly is not the inspiration for this song).
(c) 2017 The Klazomaniac Fopdoodle
Having a night at home with my fiancee
We had a great dinner, I’m about to get laid
But little did I know as she climbed on top
It would all go to shit as the bombs started to drop
I push out of the wreckage of where my house stood
The bombs destroyed it, and my whole neighborhood
And the city as well, and the world I think
In a heartbeat’s time, gone as fast as a blink
My fiancee — already dead!
My neighbor next door — already dead!
Old lady Murphy down the street — already dead!
The football star paid millions to run up and down the field a couple of Sundays each year to maximize a meaningless score…..
Already Dead! x4
My big brother lives just a mile away
We didn’t always get along, but still I pray
That despite the radiation, he has somehow survived
Before our organs start to fail, I need to say goodbye
I run through the streets seeing pain and death
Every age, every race, drawing their last breath
No one will learn from this tough break
Because no one will be left who could repeat the mistake
My boss at work — already dead!
My favorite action star — already dead!
The richest man in the world — already dead! The scientists who warned about global warming, and everyone who chose for some reason to ignore all the evidence so far …
Already Dead! x4
I get to his home
Pound on the door
He opens it up
My spirit soars
And his face lights up
As he sees that its me
He’s not looking well
But he’s happy as could be
He comes in for a hug
As he shouts my name
But the reason I’m here
Is that he bears the blame
So I kick him in the balls
And watch him go down
Then spit in his face
As he writhes on the ground
I say, “I came all this way
And I’m glad you’re alive
Not out of love
But so I can watch you die
You voted for the moron
Who ushered this in
Even though it was clear
He was unfit to win
And dumb and evil, too,
And heartless and cruel
But you didn’t care
You voted for the fool
My only satisfaction
With the world overthrown
Is watching you at last see
The stupidity you’ve sown
Our mom and dad — already dead!
All the parents and kids — already dead!
All the assholes like you — already dead!
All the people everywhere
